During the holidays I had the good fortune of visiting the Lego Imagination
Center at Downtown Disney in Orlando, FL.  Here's a quick overview of what I
saw that might be noteworthy to Lego fans.

The LIC had a nice limited edition lithograph of set 6456 (Mission Control).
The framed picture depicted the Lego shuttle launching and attempted to
capture the energy and enthusiasm of the minifigs watching the launch.  The
picture was sold framed only for (I think) $56 (US).  What I recall most from
the picture, though, is that a large part of it depicted shuttle exhaust!

Darth Vader Star Wars posters were still in stock at $1.99 each.  The poster
depicts Darth Vader behind an energy beam shaped like the infinity symbol.
Within the loops of the energy field are numerous Lego scenes.

The LIC had Sports, Adventurers and many other pen sets.
The LIC had two versions of every Lego watch.  There appears to be a regular
and a deluxe version to each watch style.  The deluxe version includes extra
links, faceplates etc.

The LIC had postcards of most of the 1999 Star Wars sets.  These postcards
simply depicted the images found on the front of the Star Wars Lego boxes.

The only other item I saw in stock that I had not seen before was Adventurers
playing cards.

Regarding sets...
Of the currently released sets, the LIC did not have the Star Wars Destroyer
Droid.  They appeared to have all other current 2000 Star Wars sets such as A
and B-Wings, Slave I etc.

They had a lot of Belville "Millimy" sets.  The benefit to these sets appears
to be for unique parts and/or pink and magenta bricks.

They appeared to have most all of the train accessories, track, station etc.
in stock.  They also had the (1999) big Duplo train in stock.

I did not see any new Duplo sets, nor did I see any keychains that I had not
seen before.  Minimal service packs.

Their Mindstorms/Technic area did not reveal anything new. Still had
Mindstorms mousepads for $10.

The only other miscellaneous item I saw was a nice brushed silver writing
pen.  The pen was similar to a LAMY rollerball with a perforated steel grip.
The pen had a black, Lego logo printed on it.

As usual, the staff was friendly and informative.
