The 9735 "Robotics Explorer" set is out. The
CPU is a no-PC-required RCX lookalike (except
in blue), with two sensor inputs, two motor
outputs, and an IR port.
I didn't note any other details; if anyone's
painfully interested, I can be persuaded to
go take another look at it.
I saw it for sale at the south Austin
ToysRUs (which also has the Droid Development
Kit in stock).

| (...) [...] One other thing: There are a number of pre-programmed behaviors included (like the Droid kit); I guess if you don't have a PC this would be necessary. (I also set followups correctly this time; please delete loc.us.tx.aus from headers (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
