Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

7/22 Would be good for me too : ) But now we have way too many cool choices for acronyms : ( Perhaps that should be the first item on the agenda ? (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.pa)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

(...) That would be my most likely date as well. (...) I'm leaning towards "SEASLUG." ;) (...) My only experience involves extracting money from University bureaucracies, so I won't be much help on this one. (...) I think that if we make it clear (...)   Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

Chris and all, Well, I believe that I can make July 22. I need to verify with my wife to make sure that we have nothing that we must be at on that date. A good friend of mine has offered us Webspace on his server, if we eventually want to have a web (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.pa)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

I keep replying to my own posts... (...) The resounding responses (all three ;-) suggest that 22 July is a good date. Who can make it for something in Central New Jersey on Saturday, 22 July 2000 at around 1500 EST? I think this should be an RSVP (...)   Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

Hi, 22 July is good for me. I'm flexible until Sep 7 (two weekends in SF, CA.) Here's my acronym contribution for tonight: LUMAS (Lego Users, Mid Atlantic States) (plus, it sounds classical) LBOES (Lego Builders of Eastern States) MACTEC (...)   Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

(...) Why not simply "GardenSLUG"? ;) (...) I'm partial to UMALUG, myself. Somehow "TriLUG" brings to mind "Revenge of the Nerds." best Lindsay (22 July is my only workable date.) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.us.nj, lugnet.loc.us.ny, lugnet.loc.us.pa)

  Re: Disappointing Pod Racing Bucket

(...) I've only been able to check the one in the South Hills. They also have several of each UCS kit and the Falcon in stock, as well as the Soccer and Dino sets. No dazzling deals, but cool to look at. Dave! (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.us.pa.pit)

Re: Is there interest in a new LUG?

(...) I've been lurking on this thread for a bit...I'm in Pittburgh, PA, so most likely I would not be able to attend any sort of Lego event in the near future, but was wondering if any of you are out my direction somewhat (like, say, central PA)?
