Greetings
We are delighted to announce that ILTCO has been invited to display at the
National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) Annual Train Show. NMRA 2005 Train
Show will be held immediately following the NMRA National Convention in
Cincinnati. The show will be held in the Cincinnati convention center, from July
8 through 10. We have been allocated the largest display space at the
convention, an area of ~70 x 50 feet!! This display space will be filled with
contributions of at least 13 ILTCO-member clubs; CILTC (IndyLUG), COLTC (host
club), GFLTC, GMLTC, GtwLUG, Michiana-LTC, MichLTC, MSLTC, NGLTC, NILTC,
rtlToronto, TCLTC, and WAMALUG. Several other clubs may still join the list of
participating clubs, and in addition individual members have indicated they want
to visit/participate.
This is a big step for the AFOL train community; the NMRA is the biggest model
railroading organization worldwide, and their annual conventions and train shows
draw tons of visitors from the US, and many from abroad. It is the ultimate
platform to show the Lego train hobby to fellow train enthusiasts, as well as to
the general public. We will periodically update you on this coming show, and
hope you will have a chance to visit, or even join, our display.
