Hi all MichLUG'ers and other Michiganders!
I mentioned at the first MichLUG meeting that my house might be available
for a meeting/party during the holiday time. I was especially keen on
accomodating those out-of-towners who can't be at most MichLUG events.
There was some discussion about meeting either between Christmas and New
Years, or during January.
After communicating with a few of those out-of-towners, it appears that (for
them), meeting between Christmas and New Years is a better bet than a
January meeting. I won't name any names, so no one feels any pressure. :)
Anyway, I'd like to open my house for an afternoon/evening event on
Wednesday, December 27th. That'll give everyone a day to recover from
Christmas.
Things will start around 1:00 in the afternoon, and continue as long as
anyone is left. We'll do some kind of dinner around 5:00 or 6:00. Bring
your favorite munchie to share. :) NLSO and kids (L or NL) are invited as
well. NLSO must be willing to tolerate a bunch of LEGO geeks. :)
There's no real list of events, although I'm open to ideas. Bring your
MOCs, bring stuff to trade. We can also discuss the January train show, at
least to fill in those of us who couldn't make the December 10 meeting.

here. I'm not going to post directions to my house in public.
