I can't commit to LEAD but I want in. I pass through Metro airport
enough to where I could rendezvous with the current (or next) box holder
on my way to somewhere else pretty easily.

Heck I could do it more than once, even, or start a fork. I have a lot
of parts, and I solemnly vow not to put any Timmys in. Other likely
places I can move a box to include MSP and Boston. (my new firm is HQed
in Boston, and I just made silver elite on NWA so I'll be using them a
lot ==> pass through their hubs (Detroit, MSP) a lot.

This seems like one of the funnest ideas to come along in a while.

I unfortunately will NOT be attending Conan's wedding after all, but I
will be in MSP the weekend of the NMRA show (23 July)and I will pass
through Detroit on the 18th. I am in Boston all week that week, so will
have no access to my parts to trade out betweentimes, but could foster a
few exchanges of the box while in Boston (hand it off on arrival, pick
it up from someone else just before departure)

I think I'm going to California early next week but I can't say where
yet as it hasn't been set up. Looks like we may hit Northern AND
Southern, then go to St Louis on Wednesday. Sales calls.

I may have to start posting my travel schedule, I can get (small,
please, I always carryon only) boxes moved around very effectively if
everything clicks and people are willing to come to airports etc.

I like Gary's idea to get a local box of pieces to pass around to other local
AFOL's.  Do we have enough people in the greater metro Detroit area to make
this worth our time?  Would we be able to incorporate the Flint, GR, and
Lansing folks as well?  Any one want to take the lead on this?
