I guess I shouldn't complain too much about lack of space. My fiancee and I
have dedicated a room in our house to Lego, but there still doesn't seem to
be enough room. We have shelves which take up a lot of the room.

I could use some shelves.  Right now, I'm in the process of rebuilding most
of my sets, and I really don't have the room for the completed sets.

A general LUG sounds great to me.  I wish there was more we could do to
recruit people who might be interested.  I'd say as more people come on
board on Lugnet, we'll find some Kentucky folk as well.  We might even find
some sleepers out there as well.

There was a new member on the front page from Kentucky, Jason Grant.  Might
try to get him involved.
I've always had a feeling that there are some fans out there that don't use
computers, or just never did a search for LEGO.

I'm going in this pretty blind and I'll take all the advice and ideas I can.
I'm going to look at some of the other LUG's out there and get some ideas
how to 'structure' the Kentucky LUG.  And whatever ideas you have, let me
hear them. I feel positive that something good will come out from this.
Hope to hear from you soon.

One thing that I think is important for a LUG is to have a place to meet.
We should probably ask around the loc.us.ky groups to see if anyone's still
there and interested.  Those are my only ideas for right now, but if I think
of anything else, I'll post it.

(...) Hey, that's me. I'd be interested in a Ky lug group. I live in Northern Kentucky, near the Ohio river. (Very close to Cinti, OH). I build in the Town and Castle theme, although I do have small areas of Pirate, Artic, Western and Space. I have (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ky)
