So, the gauntlet has been thrown down. We have a large meeting
room at the Fremont Public Library (Stevenson Blvd. just east of
Paseo Padre Parkway; 2 short blocks from BART Fremont station!).
The date is Saturday, 5/22/99, from 11:30a-4:30p. We just need
to supply the LEGOs, and show up. :-)
Since Mark is busy with work, I'm offering to be the coordinator
for this first quarterly meeting of BayLUG. Since I live in Fremont,
I'm planning to bring lots of train stuff. Do folks want to stick
to a town/train theme, with a general show & tell, or do we want
to open it up to anything folks want to bring?
We've got 5 weeks to plan this...does anyone else have time to
put this together? (Anyone want to work on the task of Grab Bags? ;-)
I suggest that we discuss this on the LUGNET groups, and make sure
that we include the SJ and OAK sub-groups. (Feel encouraged to forward
this to others who may not be regular LUGNET readers!)
