The new stuff in the article is a mention of the IBM
event last Wednesday, an after-hours event down by
the convention center put on by Renegade Marketing.
I and three others helped demo Lego Mindstorms, and
it was quite fun. The Lego visual programming environment
is very well suited to the walk-up-to-a-table-and-play-with-it convention
crowd. I imagine it would be that way in a
classroom, also.
I got to play with the Dacta "Red Rover" set, which
used a tethered QueBall camera.
