Hi,
There's a park and ride lot across from McDs. Looks like that's where
the stop is. The bus gets off 680, goes across Mission Blvd, in front
of mcds loops around the PR lot & gets back on the freeway going east
again.

The challenge is to figure out when it will be there.
There's also the Stockton bus at:

Don't know if the train goes south though from stockton.
There's one at 5:20 pm though from Fremont.

The last time we were on the bus, it was across the street
from the McDonalds; but it is important to get it right.
The bus pulls in, stops, and leaves.  If you are on the
wrong side of the street, parking lot, or what have you,
you will miss the bus.  I'm sure this information can
be obtained from the Amtrak folks on station over at
the San Jose Depot.  I figure why drive all the way into
San Jose, when the bus is going to back track right along
680 anyhow.

I think the bus stop is across the street from it.

All:

The San Jacquin [sp?] (i.e. the central valley train) is
boarded in Stockton and terminates in Bakersfield.  There
is an Amtrak bus from the San Jose depot that goes to
Stockton.  It has four intermediate stops, one near the
McDonalds off of 880 going up the Sunol grade, one in
Pleasanton, one in Livermore, and one at the Wendy's in
Tracy (I think.)  If Todd wants to catch the bus near the
McDonalds, he needs to find out exactly where the stop is,
since they continually move the stop around.  The bus
frequently runs behind schedule, but it always seems to
make it to Stockton on time to board the train.
