FREMONT, CA - The Bay Area LEGO Users Group (BayLUG) and the Bay Area LEGO
Train Club (BayLTC) present their upcoming events. Please note that some of
this information has changed from previous announcements.

Bay Area LEGO Train Club meeting
Saturday, April 26, 2003
Members only: 9am-noon
Open to the public: noon-3pm
Member clean-up: 3pm-3:45pm
This is going to be a train table orientation and track planning meeting for
BayLTC. It is recommended that all train tables, previously used in layouts
or not, please be brought to this meeting.
We will be back in Newark at the Ohlone College campus. There will be no
parking charge, however, Security has asked that members and visitors park
in the lots next to Building 19 and 20 or the lots behind NOC 26. However
after 12 noon most of the students have left the campus and parking is
generally available throughout the campus.
The Newark Ohlone Center (NOC) address is 35753 Cedar Blvd in Newark. We
recommend that everyone visit the Ohlone web site for location, etc:

Bay Area LEGO Users Group meeting

All types of LEGO models and fans are welcome. Bring your models to show, or
bring sets or parts for trade.
This will be a chance to test out any new table orientations or track plans
we work out at the April 26 meeting. It is recommended that all train
tables, previously used in layouts or not, please be brought to this
meeting.
We will be back at the Fremont Main Library, Fukaya room (our traditional
meeting place).

We hope to have another BayLTC meeting sometime in June for final
preparations for the GATS show.

Great American Train Show
Saturday & Sunday, July 19-20, 2003
San Mateo Expo Center, San Mateo, CA
Show Hours: 11am to 5pm, both Saturday & Sunday
Admission: $7.00
Kids under 12 are free
Admission is good for both days
The details for this layout have not been finalized yet. It will be
approximately 18'x31' with two loops of trains and running monorails, plus
lots more.
We will be presenting three workshops each day:

Introduction to Track Designer
Thomas & Friends in LEGO
