Hey everybody!
I hope that all of you had as good a Lego christmas as I had. Grandma did
what Grandmas do best and gave me the Rebel Blockade Runner, ensuring a
double exposure response on my part (showing both rows of teeth when
smiling!). Personally, I think it's the best Lego set ever (so far). The
dark red is a great new color, they must make MUCH more of this color. I
especially liked the 1x4 angled plates used for the cockpit border. I only
put the decals for the radar dish on, and left the rest for use on something
else later. The design is so good that the model just doesn't need them!.
I also wanted to say that I'll be bringing it to the next meeting so
everyone can scrutinize it in person, as it were.
