I spent last weekend at my cousin Dave's house building a giant roller
coaster out of K'Nex. We used 2 Roller Coaster sets, a Big Ball
Factory set, and a Trampoline Tower set. My cousin's house has all
these really neat "plant ledges" 8 feet up which were just crying for
something cool to be built on them.
His fiance protested the whole idea - because it's "required" ;-)
- but we did it anyway since she wasn't around to stop us. Of course
after we got it up, her only complaint was that she didn't get to
help! <sigh> Where can I get a girlfriend like that? :-)
It took only about 2 days to build, esp. since we had help. Dave's
brother came over Sat&Sun to help, and on Sunday my uncle and his son
also helped. We were able to set up assembly lines and really build
fast. It's pretty neat how the building can be broken down into little
modules so that the work can really be shared.
I posted pics and an MPEG that my uncle assembled at

| This was REALLY awsome! I have always dreamed of building a big roller-coaster. I built a small one out of LEGO 4.1V track, but it was pretty lame. Your KNEX one is really great!
