Hey guys and gals,
I drove up to the Pinole TRU today hoping to snag an Imperial Shuttle and
found that they still had received no new stock since Xmas except for the
Technic Stormtrooper (ugh!). However, a battered and opened Millenium
Falcon box caught my eye. An detailed inspection of the contents revealed
all the major pieces to be there and only one of the bags had been opened.
I brought it to one of the employees and inquired about a discount since the
package was opened and possibly missing pieces. She mulled for a bit and
then said, "Half?" I readily agreed and sped home in anticipation. Upon
building the set I joyfully discovered all the pieces were indeed present!
The set itself is really funky and I don't much care for it, but it was a
great parts buy at half off!
