  Re: Space Box #1 underway

I now have Space Box #1 - I plan to hold it until the BAYLUG/BAYLTC meeting on March 12th where TomS & others can take a look at it. After the meeting I'll get it off to DaveJ on the 13th - Dave please verify that the address I have from earlier (...)   Re: Ronald McDonald anyone?

Well, hey, $10 for 15 pages color copied isn't that bad, actually. Color copies are still damned expensive. But personally, I'd rather have highres scans I can print out at will. (...) Well, I did purchase them myself for $12 so I didn't have to pay over $50 to get a Ronald McDonald in the first place. Russell Clark (URL) 39423705 (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Ronald McDonald anyone?

I have a full color set of instructions for the 18" LEGO Ronald McDonald statue. They are almost 15 pages long, including part lists. I have built one from the instructions that I will bring to the meeting. I can make color copied sets and sell them (...) (25 years ago, 28-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

Re: Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

I picked up 36, I'm going to stop there - even compacting them into minimum tubs, I don't know if I can fit that many in my car to bring them to the 3/12 meeting. I'll need paid back on these asap, they went on plastic. All I ask for compensation is (...) (25 years ago, 20-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

Re: Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

They can't get any more and I was going to otherwise have to pay more than the sale price. Since these modules take 50 tubs each, 6 baseplates, track and structures, plus $35 to make a table for them, the cost for my layout it quite astronomical, so (...)   Re: Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

Mike, have you contacted the person who took the order and asked for assistance? Or is your original order price higher than the $14.99 sale price? In that case you are better off going with the sale price and forgetting the original order. I'll get (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

Blue Tub sale at TRU - Please Help!!!

Sunday and Monday, there will be a President's Day weekend sale at Toys R Us in CA. They will have the Lego #3033 Basic Blue Tub for $14.99 plus tax. I had ordered 300 of the Blue Tubs a few weeks ago. They got into the distribution center, but then (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  Re: 12V Track

(...) I'm going to try and make it to the March 12th meeting. If I do, I will bring the track. I may as well bring it all - doesn't really take that much room up. I've got a bunch of switches as well, including the remote control boxes. Those are (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: 12V Track

12V track is exactly the same as 4.5V track, except that they have a conductor rail (2 studs wide, removable) that sits between the rails. For people who would be interested in 12V track, try talking to Derrick Bulkley. Has anybody heard from him (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

  Re: Who has Metroliner cars?

Well, then you get into the sticky part - "what are they really worth". I would HOPE that black/white/red/blue train window frames get pretty cheap in May, considering there are 7 in a $22 set, I just can't see any sane person valuing them above (...)   12V Track

I recently upgraded my train setup from 12V to 9V. So now I have a bunch of grey 12V track - straight and curved, regular and electric, as well as the dark grey ties. Are there any BayLTCers who still use 12V? I'd love to trade it for some (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
