I've checked several more stations, and the one right around the corner from me now has 1246-1255, but I'm still not able to find 1256 - either all the stations are already sold out of it, or they never carried it. OK, I hit 6 stations in San Carlos and Sunnyvale yesterday, and 4 had the 1246-1251 sets, but NONE had the larger 1252-1256 sets. Personally, I only need about 10-12 1252s and a couple of 1256s.
