Hey Everyone,
I went to Target (Greatland) in Thousand Oaks, CA (Newbury Park?) today and
picked up three 8735 Technic Motor Kit (with gear-reduction motor) for US$18.75
each (normally US$39.95) on their toy clearance aisle. I got one blue-box-style
and two, newer grey-box-style kits. There were also many slightly-damaged kits
on clearance there as well, such as the 7110 Landspeeder for US$2.50 and a UCS
TIE Interceptor for $49.95, although the box was HEAVILY damaged.
They also have a great selection of the newer SW, LOM, and Studio kits.
8007 C-3PO Technic was US$29.95, versus the marked US$34.95. The 8008
Stormtrooper might be discounted the same, I didn't look.
I imagine that these sort of stock clearances are happening at all Targets, so
you might want to check out your local store to see.
