Re: What are the best lego places in South Bay?

Regarding TRU, that sounds true, but I didn't see Mindstorms in the lego section. Is it somewhere else in the store? I was there last week. They have the 4128 large Freestyle buckets there. (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

I've heard that Fry's has the Mindstorms sets. As far as bay area lego goes, the ToysRUs in Dublin across the bay seems to get new stuff the soonest. -gyug Tom McDonald (rocketman@familyradio.com) wrote: : You'd probably have to acquire one from (...)   Re: What are the best lego places in South Bay?

You'd probably have to acquire one from Lego themselves. TRU won't have them, neither will Target nor KMart. I'm afraid I haven't been any help. But I thought I'd let you know that at least one other person is now lurking here from the Bay Area. (...) (26 years ago, 1-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

What are the best lego places in South Bay?

I am rediscovering Lego due to Mindstorms, and would be interested in people's opinions on where to shop for Lego in the south bay. I am especially interested in Technic, new or used. (26 years ago, 30-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf.sj)

  Hi.

Some people seem to think that being the first to post to a new group is something special. But I don't. ;) Ok, to keep it on topic: Has anyone ever had a FOTW in this area? (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.slo)

Re: Folks in the LA area

I'm not living in LA (any more), but replying to the rest of your message: Keeping posting on-topic will probably be an on-going effort. Besides the klewless who mis-post (either through ignorance, laziness, or bad karma), there will always be both (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.la, lugnet.admin.general)

  Folks in the LA area

So, let's get some L.A. people in here chatting! I must say, as much as I didn't like the idea of splitting up RTL into a bunch of newsgroups, this is great! It somehow feels like a nice little community again, without a hundred messages a day. :) (...) (26 years ago, 29-Sep-98, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.la)
