No, there isn't one. The closest thing we have is the BayLUG meetings in Fremont. I am the only AFOL in Fresno. There are 2 people in Modesto, I believe. I don't think Lulu' is THAT expensive.. Also, There used to be a place called the royal exchange over on California by Tadich grill, but that was many years ago... Just a half block east of Moscone is ThirstyBear brewing, a decent brewpub, serving Tapas as its main food effort. Further away, and just OK, is the SF location of Gordon Biersch brewing. I will not have any tracks enter the station. The tracks will come across outside the station, which will allow me to move the station much easier. I sympathize with your "end-of-station" pondering. I graveled with that issue for my mere two story monorail track as the front transitioned to the side, then on to the back. Plus, we never want to give the impression that we are from Lego. Wearing the Lego Logo on shirts might give that impression. I bought some twin sheets for Ross about 3 years ago when they were a S@H special. Last time I asked about sheets, they had none. (Wanted some for Kristen too.) That was about a year ago. They are not the best from an overall appearance/fun (...) (24 years ago, 8-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)

They only tend to have twin sheets in stock, and that would get REALLY expensive, unless we could talk Brad into sending us a dozen or so sets. I think alot of the inside room and table problems will be solved with a standardization of tables. If they are all the same general length, width and heigth not only can the planning be completely layout based, but set up should be faster. I know (...) Well, the show was both stressful and successful. Many positive comments and it looks like we have a good amount of momentum to go on. We even came across a Lego Train Fan who knew nothing of Lugnet or BayLUG, but had been building Lego Train MOCs (...) Another "future" point that Mike & I talked about: a "drive-in" featuring a laptop showing a looping presentation of LUGNET train MOCs.
