Re: Request for set pickup at LL Kidvention

(...) Only the Winter catalouge has EVERYTHING (minus some DUPLO). Model Team sets are only big sellers during the winter, so, unless there is some space, they don't always appear in the Summer catalouge. In other words, S@H still has 5563 and it is (...) I noticed that tehre are no Model Team sets in the summer catalog. The Potomac Mills store says LL CA had 5563 (Racing Truck) as recently as a month ago.   BayLTC Train Layout

Well, it has been some time since I posted, so here is an update: Zonker and Paul Sinasohn just left after both spending the entire day working on modules.   Re: Sale at Gilroy Outlets a Bust for Lego

(...) Just got back: it's "up to" 70% off "list" on "selected" merchandise, and not all stores are participating. (...) A good idea. It won't be ready (read explanation below), but with sentiments I get from TLC, its their park and they probably don't want it sold *there.* That's how I feel at least.   Sale This Weekend (7/1/00) at Gilroy Outlets

A friend who lives in Morgan Hill tells me that there was an ad in the local paper announcing a "70% off sale" at all the Gilroy Outlet Mall stores this weekend.   Re: Too late for the Kidvention?

I'm taking a tank car down to Mike's place this weekend, but it isn't marked in any special way. It uses the two balloon halves from 5988 on a 6x16. If I could find my 6x24s, or one of those "sunken" train plates I'd do a double.... Paul Sinasohn (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf)
