I never thought that by buying Lego anything like this would ever happen...
I mustered up the money to go make a purchase of some sets I'd been eyeing
at my local KB toys. So I went into the Westcor shopping mall and walked to
the store. I accumulated my order and went to the cashier.
Waiting as he works to ring up my purchase, my eye wanders around the
display counter. Hmm, "Free Baseball tickets". Another gimmick, I thought
to myself, but with nothing better to do, I read it: "Free baseball tickets
when you spend $200 dollars in one day at any Westcor shopping centers."
I look at the cashier, total already over $400, with more to come. "Sir,
may I get seperate checks?"
My Father and Mother were with me, so my combined three recipts all went to
the front desk and were turned into 6 tickets to go see the World Champion
Arizona Diamond Backs play any home game through the rest of the season[1].
Well, to everyone who loves lego and buys it often, you now know buying lego
can turn into more than just Lego. To all the people from the land where
the bricks melt, go shopping for new Lego at Westcor and come see a game
with me!
