Yes, they're essentially the same.

Unless you have the box or the instructions, the only logical way left to
determine which you've got is to figure out where it was originally bought.

This is why I like looking them up on LUGNET more... If you go to
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/920 you'll see that the 920 Launch Pad lists as the
"non-U.S. version of 483". Often in the past the US release would be given a
different set number than the worldwide release, though I'm not entirely sure
why. I do know that with the Bionicle mask packs, where North America would get
boxes and the rest of the world would get celophane bags, the two different
packaging styles were given different set numbers, but I haven't heard of larger
sets being double-released like this for quite a while.
