It is less than 2 months to the Boatfest/Scotfest on Saturday 14th October.
It will be held at the Aberdour Boat Club, Shore Road, Aberdour, Fife.

Aberdour is just over the Forth bridge from Edinburgh.
It is easily accessed from Edinburgh airport - let me know if you want to be
picked up.
It is on the main East Coat main line, you can get mainline trains to Edinburgh
or Inverkeithing and change for Aberdour.
You could even get the sleeper, (seats on the sleeper are very cheep) but it
doesn't run on Saturday night.
Megabus.com now run a bus from London & the NE to Inverkeithing.
By car it is over the forth Bridge then on the A921.

Aberdour is a holiday village (with a blue flag beach and close to Edinburgh) so
bring the family and stay the weekend.
There are many B&B's in the village, the one I recommend and everybody stayed at
last year is the FORTH VIEW HOTEL.
http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/hotels/forthview.html
It is a family run hotel located on the Hawkcraig Point with views over the
Forth to Edinburgh.
Telephone : 01383-860402
single £20-40 - price depends on the view
On the edge of the village down a steep track - but amazing views up the Forth
to the bridges.
Be sure to mention LEGO & Scotfest when you book!

The format will be similar to previous years, other ideas are welcome.
The fest will start at 10am lunch will be provided and it will finish at 4.30pm.
Once again there will be the opportunity to have a meal at 5pm at a Italian
restaurant before people have to head off home.

Is it is at the boat club, this years theme is to bring a boat, any size but it
should be Minifig scale.
There is no long list of rules, have fun building something to bring and share.
Last years Truckfest theme was a great success.
This will take the form of a "Show & Tell". Also bring along any other MOC to
show.
As usual there will opportunities to buy, sell and swap LEGO.

Once again to find the true LEGO enthusiast there will be a competition based on
a popular TV quiz show but with a LEGO theme.

The Scottish AFOL's are always pleased to welcome others from the rest of the
UK.
It open to any AFOL not just Brickish members.
It is free.
