Comedian Johnny Vegas is to become a father for the first time.
Vegas chose the Empire Film Awards in London to announce that his new wife
Kitty was pregnant.
The baby is due on July 4 and the 31-year-old comic said he was "thrilled"
with the news.
"It's fantastic news and I'm so excited," he said at the award ceremony at
the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane.
"We don't know yet if it's a boy or a girl and I honestly don't have a
preference. My wife thinks I would be better with a boy because of my vast
collection of Star Wars Lego.
Does this now mean that AFOL's are officially cool or just the SW
collectors? :-)
