Only a few days to go (this Saturday, 16th Nov) so time for an update.
For the six people in the UK who have not heard yet, The North British Lego
Train Club are holding a train show (aptly entitled 'Great Western Lego
Train Show') at the STEAM Museum (GWR), Swindon.
Over the last seven weeks, a band of module/scenery builders have been
neglecting family and friends, burning midnight oil and (in some cases) just
quietly nodding their heads whilst staring into space at the dinner table etc.
Basically, we're determined to make this a spectacular show. More details
are available here:

In fact, the layout has been extended (now approx. 25ft long) but procedures
are in place to prevent the driving of trains at reckless speeds over the
long straights. Hope that all six of you can join everyone else and we'll
see you there.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 16th 10am-4pm

| (...) Jon and everyone else. Due to some heavy deadlines at work I can no longer make it this Saturday. A real pity as the layout sounds fantastic. Have fun and I'll see you all soon. Simon (22 years ago, 13-Nov-02, to lugnet.loc.uk)
