Possible UK Visit - I have some questions!

It appears that I will be in the UK for a couple of days in July for a
meeting (18th and 19th).  So my questions are these:  How far is it from
Newbury (where I will be) to LEGOLand-Windsor?  Assuming I won't have a
car - what is the best way to get there?  My hope is to visit LLW on
Saturday July 20th before heading back to the US on the 21st.  I will be
flying in and out of Gatwick.  While Gatwick (IMHO) is the model of
inefficiency (based on my own experience), I can get a direct flight from
Raleigh so it is my airport of choice.

Thanks,

Mike
