I've just been told that TRU are starting a 'Big LEGO Event' on Saturday,
running until the end of the month. It's another attempt to shift some less
popular stock from the front of the store, so don't expect Star Wars or any
2001 stuff to be discounted.
Offers are along the lines of buy a Fire Station, and get a fire boat or
something free. Spend enough (around 50 quid?) and get a free watch. Also
demonstrations of 'how things work' (a lot of MyBots were being stacked up.
Hmm...) on a forthcoming Saturday.
They've also got TRU branded LEGO catalogues out. Same as the LEGO 2001
one, but clearly says 'January-June' on the cover, and has a TRU logo on it.
A bit late then (half way through that period), but a good pointer to keep
an eye out for the next one.
