Hi All,
Just returned from an inspired shopping expedition to LLW and I can report
the following clearance items in the 1999 Star Wars range
7110 Landspeeder £2.99 (approx 100 sets left)
7121 Naboo Swamp £3.99 (approx 70 sets left)
7130 Snowspeeder £7.99 (approx 40 sets left)
7140 X-Wing Fighter £12.99 (approx 80 sets left)
7141 Naboo Fighter £8.99 (approx 80 sets left)
7150 Y-Wing and TIE Fighter £19.99 (approx 15 sets left)
7151 Sith Infiltrator £11.99 (approx 60 sets left)
7161 Gungan Sub £19.99 (approx 20 sets left)
7171 Mos Espa Pod Race £29.99 (approx 15 sets left
And if you hold a season pass they'll still knock the 10% off!! :-D
Oddly enough 7111, 7128 and 7131 were not on sale, and there were tons of
them lying around too. No 7101 sets to be seen. Non of the 2000 stuff was on
sale either, and there were no Falcons to be seen anywhere :-(
My guess is they're deperate to clear some space for the new 2001 sets. So
stroll on down to LLW and grab some of these bargains (particularly if you
missed out on the eToys clearance). Just remember, if you don't have a
season pass you can still get in for free to shop as long as you tell them
that's what you're there for and you're out of the park within 30 minutes of
entering (you pay the £18 entry fee and they give it back to you on the way
out - very nice of them).
