Saw an add for some lego
It said big box of old lego
Phoned up and the lady confirmed if was a very big box, it was all old stuff
from kids long left home (she said it was from her son's childhood, and he
was now 47) and there were hundreds of models, and you could make castles,
trains, ships, cars, spaceships, all sorts of things.

I thought this sounded exciting! This could be lots of 60's and 70's stuff.
Classic space, perhaps a yellow castle, and even 4.5v trains.
So I went along.

It turned out to be little bigger than a shoe box with a few hundred plain
bricks.
I inquired about "the hundreds of models, the trains, ships, etc"

"Oh well", she said, "this isnt like the new lego. In those days it didnt
come with any instructions, you just used your imagination and built
anything you want"

Very true.
But NOT what I was hoping for!

regards
lawrence
