While digging out a Teletubbies magazine for my youngest today in WHS, I
found a new magazine/comic: LEGO Adventures!
Like others of its type, aimed at 6-8 year olds, its a mixture of comic
strips, activities and facts.
There are a few neat building ideas in it, including a nice parrot which I
felt compelled to make this afternoon.
Possibly the best part of it, though, is that it comes with a polybag on the
front cover! Issue 1 comes with 2138, a small helicopter thingy. There have
been loads of similar bags released as part of various promotions around the
world, so i suspect most will turn up on the cover of futre issues.
The price? A reasonable £1.50. Issue 2 is out 28/4, so this was probably the
first weekend issue 1 has been available.

| I should have added that the magazine states that Dorling Kindersley are publishing a book called "The Ultimate LEGO book" on 26th August, or from your local DK rep from May 1st. Huw (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
