Hiya
As I have not had much time to build stuff or buy stuff over the past month
or two, I have lost track of what new stuff is available, so could someone
fill me in on some details please?
... What is the current best / average UK price for the Star Wars Ultimate
Collector's Series sets? The only remaining toyshop in Winchester had a TIE
Fighter on the shelf at £74.99. Are these sets available everywhere now? I
didn't see them when I was last at TRU in Southampton.
... Nowhere seems to have Mindstorms any more. Can someone tell me where I
can get a 1.0-1.5 upgrade, a remote control and the extra sensor pack, and
how much they are? I guess I could probably get them direct from Lego or
from Commotion, but is there a better price anywhere?
... Has anyone seen the 'dark side' droid developer kit anywhere?
... Are there any bargain 8448 super cars anywhere? I foolishly missed the
opportunity to get one in the Argos sale a few months ago, now these seem to
have disappeared from the shops too.
... Have I missed a catalogue somewhere? Those new Technic sets in the new
Argos catalogue were a complete surprise (that big racing car looks pretty
cool, though). The most recent catalogue I have has the Mindstorms grabber
arm holding a CD on the front, the 'where did the ball go?' competition on
the back, and a headline saying 'how do we prepare our children for the new
millennium?' on page two.
