Ban Lego Football?

I noticed the long debate in lugnet.general regarding the throwing away of
lego guns, due to the concern over kids playing with guns.

I though perhaps we should ban lego football in the England on the basis it
will encourage children to grow up as holligans.

Of more concern, what with hooliganism and all, was channel 5's screening of Rambo II after the England v Romania match.... (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.general)

Surely it would be a better idea to keep the football sets and fill them with additional MFs- then maybe, just maybe, we could spawn a football team which could actually pass the ball from one player to another....
