My local Safeway (Walderslade, Kent) dropped all its LEGO a few months back,
and I missed everything :-( At the time, I thought that it was just our
store having a clear out, as they're about to drop clothes and other toys
too. Perhaps they'll concentrate on food in future! ;-)

| Our Local Safeway (Rushden) is getting rid of all their current Lego stock. They only had a few remnants left when I went, but they had 6457 for 33p, 6454 for £5, 7141 for £5 and 7121 for £1.31!! Is this the only store doing this or are other (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
