Went to TRU in Hayes (I know it isn't Bucks!).
No sale. No '99 Technic sets except a few really small ones.
Beatties
Only one sub left, in a very battered box. Big Explorien set
on sale for 20 pounds. Loads of the black FOS set, still at
twenty pounds, so the report of 15 pounds at the one in
Norwich, means that that price has yet to filter to all the
other shops.
Tesco in High Wycombe centre....nothing new, except the
Slizers. "Discontinued" labels on the price labels on the
shelves for all of the Micro-Technic. The smallest ones
reduced by 50p. A couple of other small Technic sets with the
same labels. No old sets showing up there yet, though they
still have a couple of 6899's.
Disappointing week!
