Started work on the Terminus style station I proposed for the Legofest railway
layout
Visit the following for a view of the front of the station
http://homepages.tesco.net/~lawrence.wilkes/metroterminus.htm
This is 5 platform plates wide
Provides the main building to front a terminus with platforms in an e shape
hopefully this conveys proposed layout
FCPPPPPPPPPS
FCPP
FCPPPPPPPPPS
FCPP
FCPPPPPPPPPS
Key F-Facade (as in picture) C-Concourse (on rest of base plate from facade),
P - platform plate, S - sloping platform plate
Main inhibitor to this design is 30 odd platform plates!
This allows the platform to run full length of a metro liner with club car
We could use less plates with shorter platform and not doubling up on the
concourse side.
My other main problem is finishing the side walls of the station. I wanted a
modern glass wall effect - but where to get all those pieces.
I have an innovative roof solution that would cover the entire station though.
regards
lawrence
