Usually issues in one area of the UK will have interest to all of the UK
- what new sets we are getting - Kellogs promotions etc.
I see the regional NGs as more useful for finding people nearby, or
about special offers - but then someone from Liverpool might be willing
to travel a little into North Wales for a special offer - or might have
a localised friend/relative who could pick it up for them - so I guess
depending on how special the offer is it would be good posting to the
loc.uk one too?
Just out of interest - is the standard for denoting the specialised
localities a standard? Or is it now :)

| Quite agree. We are a small enough country, and too few UK people to worry about for the time being. Consensus for the time being for all of us to post here, and then, maybe if traffic increases sufficiently split it down. But I don't think that (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)
