I haven't tried this, although there's no technical reason why you
couldn't do it. It's just a question more of what you propose to use as
the source of the images, and which sets would you want on the CD etc.
Kevin Loch's excellent web site would be the obvious place to get the
images from, indeed (with Kevin's permission of course) one could even
replicate the HTML indexing that he has recently implemented, which
would create an excellent resource. But I feel the effort of doing this
would only be worthwhile if one were to be able to distribute the
results, and I have a sneaky suspicion that TLG would have something to
say about that.
Although now you've brought it up, I'd love to see a Technic CD. =)
P.S Jason, I spotted this post in Lugnet.loc.uk.en, but We (that is to
say the UK lugnutters) tend to only use the .loc.uk area. so I have
cross-posted this reply to loc.uk, and set follow-ups there too.
