I forgot to thank you, Richard.
My local Tesco had 6 of the 1857s, so I took 4 of them. (950 pieces for
£7.85 is such good value).
I also noticed that they had 2 of the new road sign sets at £2.49 each, so I
took those too.
The blue Technic motorbike, 8417, was reduced too, from a little over £18 to
around £12, which is a pretty good saving. I didn't weaken, having a very
full basket at the time. :-)

| (...) If you can find a Tesco Extra near you (there seems to only be 6 in the country though) you can pick up a pamphlet type thing at the entrance which gets you a pound off any toy worth over £3, but only one coupon per transaction. Nothing to (...) (27 years ago, 13-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
