Just got back home from my trip a couple of days ago, so I will add my
2c worth even if it is rather after the fact!
The Scottish Legofest was a great way to start my holiday - I hardly
felt jetlagged at all the whole afternoon (until I just missed the train
back to Glasgow and had to wait an hour for the next one.. still, I had
lego to play with whille I waited so it wasn't so bad!) I got some great
old sets (thanks Tony and Ian!) and made a great parts swap with Ian.
Being around other adult Lego weirdos was excellent. My family and
partner take it quite well but they are not as loony about it as I am.
Many thinks to Ian for organising the event and for giving me a lift to
and from the station, and to Mrs Bishop for feeding us all and looking
kindly on us covering most of thehouse with Lego. Never seen _three_
BSB's in one place together before!
I intend to keep the tradition going and organise a Vancouver legofest
sometme this autumn.

| I think those present will agree that the recent Legofest - the first in the UK as far as I know - was a great success. I had arranged it on a Monday to fit in with Kevin Wilson's travel plans, so attendance was expected to be limited. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
