With the catalogue in front of me, the prices are (page 691):
8448 Supercar II £74.99 (item number 373/3099)
8445 Racer / Indy Storm £26.99 (item number 373/3082)
8446 Crane Truck £36.99 (item number 373/3075)
My local Argos (Poole) did not have the 8448 in stock, but said
I could order one for Thursday.

| All, Apologies if this is old news, but it was new to me yesterday. Argos stores are now carrying the new Autumn '99 Technic models: 8448 SuperCar II 8446 Crane Truck 8445 Racer / Indy Storm I don't have the catalogue to hand, but from memory the (...) (27 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)
