(...) OK, they're wiped. The way I wiped them was by removing them from the all- inclusive hierarchical log listings. The article files are still actually there in the same spots on the disk -- they're just not "pointed to" by anything (except by (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jul-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.loc.uk)
