camera technology allows kids to build and design robots that respond to
motion, light and color. Kids can make robots pinpoint and track an object
like a yellow ball, or possibly a brightly colored family pet. Available for
holiday shopping.
* Lego Mybot (Lego, $49.99, ages 4-6). Pairs classic Duplo building with
motion-sensing technology. Children design and build one of three
interactive creations and ''program'' it by placing an identity brick and an
action brick on their model. Available in September.
