AS you might already have seen by the posts in various groups, there is now
somewhat more information about this event. The event is taking place from
october 20 till october 23 in Zwolle, the Netherlands. The event is
organised by LEGO, The IJsselhallen (who provide the location), Foxkids
(for the promotion) and the dutch LEGO user group 'De Bouwsteen'. A group of
people from 'De Bouwsteen', including myself, are involved in the organisation
of the event.
LEGO will, of course, show the current product line will be there, but from 'De
Bouwsteen' also old sets and own creations will be shown at the event, for
example. There will also be building contests and a record attempt.
Next to those things we have a lot more plans, also some plans aimed at an
international audience, turning (part of) the event into an european LEGOfest.
Those plans still have to be worked out in detail, so I cannot tell you much
more at the moment, but we are working hard on the plans.
