Cancer Sharks is having a LEGO fair fundraiser at Port Williams Elementary
School on Saturday December 5th from 2-4pm.  I'll be there with a town/train
layout, and NovaLUG members Brian and Freddie will be there with displays as
well.

Post Williams Elementary School is at 1261 Belcher St., Port Williams, in the
Annapolis Valley, between Wolfville and New Minas.  Cost $2.00 per family or a
garbage bag of refundable bottles.

Activities:

Town/train layout of mine, including the Halifax Central Library.

Freddie's Star Wars interactive display.

LEGO robotics with Brian.

"Collins Way" - A display of LEGO buildings created by Balfour Collins.

LEGO minifig trade - do you like LEGO minifigures?  Are you interested in a
Mini-fig trade?  Bring your LEGO Mini-figs for the Mini-fig trade!

LEGO fish tank - Guess how many LEGO pieces are in our fish tank and win a LEGO
set!  Buy a ballot for $2.00, make a guess, the closest guess will win a Star
Wars LEGO set, second prize is a City LEGO set, runners up will win a LEGO
mini-fig from the Monsters Series 14.

Build Tables - LEGO will be on hand for kids of all ages to create and have fun
with!

Snacks, baked goods, and water will be on sale to raise money for Cancer Sharks.

Refundable bottles - don't forget to bring your refundable bottles to go to
cancer sharks fundraising for cancer research.

This is being organized by Jack Collins, the 10 year old son of Balfour Collins,
a former NovaLUG member, who passed away from cancer three years ago.  Last year
Jack raised money through a bottle drive.  There is a video about it on the
cbc.ca/ns website, but I can't find it at the moment. This year he is adding in
his Dad's love of LEGO.

I think there is more info on facebook.
