Greetings,
A few of us are getting together at my home next Wednesday (March 19th)
to be enthralled by the DCC trains of James Powell. It will start
sometime between 2 and 4ish, to be decided on Tuesday by James'
schedule. I live in Halifax, near the Armdale rotary. We will be in an
unfinished (but partially heated) room, so bring a sweater.
If you are interested in coming, please contact me for directions. As
the host, it is not polite to try to kill me. Therefore, please try to
be as low-odour as possible. One easy (and inexpensive - more money for
LEGO) option is to stop using fabric softener (liquid and sheets). To
reduce static cling, take a foot or two of tin foil and crumple it into
a ball, shiny side out (dull side is plastic). Put this in the dryer
with your clothes. It can be reused many times, until the foil starts
to peal off.
Due to luggage constraints, James has offered to lend NOVALUG the train
stuff he brought with him for our show on March 29th and 30th at Cole
Harbour Place, as they need to be mailed back anyway. Happiness.
