The taxes are the same whether you add them before or after the conversion. So
it is still 15% (15 cents per dollar) on both American or Canadian dollars.

Also if you pay via a Canadian cheque you only pay 1.43 CDN to US exchange rate
which is better than the current 1.5271 Bank of Canada rate. At least that
applies to the current catalog. :-)
