No, this isn't a "seen it!" notice. :(
I haven't been able to catch my friendly local TRU employee since the weekend,
so no more actual numbers, but there is some news.. The TRU employee I talked
to last night was utterly clueless, and couldn't even find it on the computer.
Despondent, I wandered back to the SW aisle, and got stunningly lucky - I
found the ever-elusive Lego rep! However, the bad news is (and straight from
the horses' mouth, no less) "Last week of March. Maybe the first week of
April, depends on where."
Elsewhere on my hunt, I discovered...
Sears: (very helpful) "They haven't decided yet if they're going to buy these,
or wait until after the movie"
The Bay: (very helpful) Not sure, checked & phoned back today to say "April 3"
Wal-mart: (clueless) <teenager trys to pretend he knows, and quickly reveals
himself a moron>
Zellers: (stoned) "Hunh?" - I kid you not, the guy responsible for toys hadn't
even *heard* anything about it.
Hope you find these updates useful... there something for me to do instead of
prowling the toy aisles, frightening children :)
