Anyone else notice Canadians are getting extra screwed with the exchange
rate on the new sets?
7779 Bat Dragster $15 CDN $10 US (exchange 1.50)
7780 Bat Boat $30 CDN $20 US (exchange 1.50)
7781 Batmobile $45 CDN $30 US (exchange 1.50)
7782 Batwing $80 CDN $50 US (exchange 1.60!!!!)
I mean come on, the actual exchange rate is around 1.16! Why does Lego
do this? This exchange rate is even worse than it was a couple years ago!
Looks like I'll be buying all of the 2006 sets off of bricklink or from
other U.S. sources. Even after shipping/duty it will work out cheaper
or about the same as a BOGOHP here in Canada.
