Hi folks, Tonight on CJAD AM 800 in Montreal, I'll be on the Peter Holder Overnight Show, a talk radio program.   Re: Shipping to Canada from the US

They used to support many companies, but dropped that part of the service for borderfree. Now your best option is a mailbox etc on the USA side of border and pay them to re-ship stuff to you. That's what I do, but being close enough to Buffalo, just (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.ca)

Shipping to Canada from the US

Some companies in the US do not ship to Canada. Does anyone know of a service that will accept shipments in the US and then forward them on to Canada? I have looked into Borderfree with Canada Post but they only deal with a small number of (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.market.shipping, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Gauging interest in The Hobby Show 2004 - Toronto, ON

(...) Hi Dave, For whatever reason (perhaps my own lack of experience with such an event) the biggest part of the effort was organizing who was coming and when. As you can recall we had people coming and going on each of the three days. That in (...) (20 years ago, 18-May-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

Hi Allan, (...) Be sure to count me in and let me have all the details - in time! I don't want to miss it like last year! I still have (URL) Butters> and (URL) Inferno> built. (...) Hello Janey, That's a good question. Last year that was probably the most common question I got. And the answer is 'no' you don't have to commit to all three days. In fact, for the 2003 show, we had people who attended for just about every (...) (20 years ago, 16-May-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

Gauging interest in The Hobby Show 2004 - Toronto, ON

The Hobby Show in Toronto is just about 6 months away. This post is intended to gauge the level of interest that people have in putting on a booth at this year's show. As a reminder, the Can-Brick Builders attended last year's show (Nov 2003) and (...) Have to agree with getting more Pick a brick stores, you have one in Windsor, down in the south of england, there should be one up north, say Manchester, so i can get the bits i need without resorting to bricklink :D (20 years ago, 30-Apr-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.dear-lego)

Zellers ran a one page ad in one of the Halifax papers yesterday having a BOGO half off sale on all LEGO Thursday and Friday (April 29th and 30th) only. The sale is probably nation-wide, but I'm not positive as it wasn't in their normal flyer. TRU (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.loc.ca)
