Sorry, I could not make it to the BUGS train night at Peter's on Friday due to
bronchitis, but thanks to Gary and Mel for coming around to collect the BUGS
S@H order to distribute on my behalf. As far as I know, everyone should have
received their BUGS S@H order now. If anyone has not, please let me know and I
will track it down (presumably it would be either with Gary or at Peter's).
Aaron, your switching points should have been delivered to Peter as requested.
What is the feeling about regular shipping over express shipping? $40 versus
$90 for 15 days versus 8 days. Personally I am happy with it in terms of
time/money. The only caveat I have is the way Australia Post contractors just
dump it at my front door, which obviously has some (small) risk of theft which
would affect everyone in the order.
Admittedly, if the good were stolen from my front door, I would not know this.
All I would know is that the goods never arrived. In which case, I would
presumably complain to S@H after enough time had passed. After which, I dunno
what would happen? They would probably be able to confirm that the goods
arrived in Sydney for dispatch, but at the end of the day I don't know whether
the subsequent delivery is at our risk or Lego's. I took a look at the S@H fine
print but I couldn't find anything that said specifically whose problem
non-delivery was, but there was a lot of stuff about stressing complete
customer satisfaction and their returns policy (which is excellent
incidentally).
